Radio-Algeria and the Ideology of Entertainment

I recently read a 1959 essay by Frantz Fanon, called “This is the Voice of Algeria.” For those of you not familiar with Algerian history, Algeria was colonized by France in the early-mid 1800s, a rule which lasted until approximately the mid 1900s.
